About me

Hi, I’m Kirsty—founder of The Quiet Body.

I’m a yoga and somatic guide specializing in trauma-informed practices that support nervous system regulation, emotional safety, and embodied healing.

The Quiet Body is a space for those seeking a slower, gentler way of coming home to themselves.

Whether you’re navigating stress, burnout, old patterns, or just the overwhelm of modern life, these practices are here to help you return to your body with compassion.

My work draws on years of teaching yoga, studying nervous system health, and walking my own healing path.

I believe in the intelligence of the body, the power of slowness, and the beauty of beginning again.

1:1 Sessions

Private sessions are a space to slow down and listen to your body.
Each session is tailored to your current state and needs —

blending somatic movement, breath awareness, restorative rest, and nervous system education.

Whether in person or online, our work together focuses on:

  • Reconnecting to body cues and boundaries

  • Gently unwinding chronic stress or overwhelm

  • Building nervous system literacy and self-regulation tools

  • Supporting integration after therapy or trauma work

Sessions are 60 minutes, available in person or via Zoom, and designed to complement (not replace) therapeutic care.

Group Classes & Workshops

Small group experiences offer the safety of shared space while maintaining personal choice and autonomy. These may include:

  • Rest as Medicine workshops

  • The Quiet Reset nervous system practice

  • Themed series exploring grounding, safety, and embodiment

All group sessions are trauma-informed, invitational, and accessible — suitable for anyone wanting to regulate, rest, and reconnect.

Talks & Organisational Offerings

For teams, workplaces, and community organisations, I offer talks, workshops, and embodied experiences exploring:

  • Nervous system regulation and resilience

  • Trauma-sensitive communication and leadership

  • Embodiment practices for helpers, educators, and clinicians

  • Rest and regulation as foundations for sustainable care

Each offering can be adapted to your group’s needs — from one-hour presentations to half-day experiential sessions.
